Patricia & Bob ~ Wolf Mountain Vineyards

OK, so yes, their wedding was on Halloween, but there was nothing scary about it...except for maybe some of the guests' "Thriller" moves. This couple was so much fun to shoot for, and with nine groomsmen, you know there was never a dull moment. Patricia and Bob are both super down-to-earth and everyone there knew how to have a good time. I love the fact that when the rain started to fall, Patricia shrugged her shoulders, threw on her cowboy boots, and trekked out into the vineyard with me. Wow! Thank you both for an amazing day of beautiful emotion, good times, and laughter. May you cherish every day and love each other with all your heart always. xo

Capturing the Moment

Alas, I missed my posting yesterday, but I will make it up to you by posting one of my favorite shots from a wedding I shot recently. Clover and Michael are an absolutely gorgeous couple and their ceremony was no exception. I love the way the sunlight catches in her veil and how his arm tattoos add a bit of edge to a super sweet and soft moment. Looking at the photo almost makes me feel the intensity of the day through their eyes and hearts. Congratulations newlyweds!

This particular shoot was done for a cover of Atlanta Bride and Groom Planner. Dress left: Vera Wang; Dress right: Meg Butler. Both were equally stunning except one fell victim to a stain in our very beautiful barn setting. Who knew that among the rust, grass, and gently aged wood of the barns, the real threat to the dresses' well being were the rubber coated clamps used to hold the dress in place! Nevertheless, the shoot carried on as the sun slowly sunk in the sky creating this amazing warm light on the bride.
