Pictures from my soul...
I love to write and express my thoughts as I work behind the lens. In a sea of bloggers, I hope that in the very least, I can interest others with a passion for imagery and emotion. I do what I love and love what I do. Photography is something that can freeze time, that very moment of peace or chaos and everything in between. I prefer capturing photos of people. People are beautiful in all their imperfections and unique quirks. Like anyone else, I get frustrated with a slow line at the grocery store, grossed out by the guy picking his nose in the car next to me at the light, or completely cracked up by the overzealous nosy neighbor. What I love are the moments when you can create a sense of serenity all while holding a camera, allowing that person to be themselves...it is then that you notice their sparkle that only comes from the soul. We all have them...souls that is, and that is what I strive to reflect in my work.
