"imageryforlife" means...

...exactly that. For me, my photographs are sometimes all I need to relive the emotion, love, excitement, tears, or beautiful joy of a moment or time in my life. That's where "imageryforlife" came from: the idea that I capture those images for real life, real people, and real moments. One of the things I love about what I do is regular clients who allow me into their lives to, in turn, know their little ones and see them grow. It's amazing to work with clients during an engagement session and then photograph their wedding, their pregnancy, their baby, their love, and their life.

I feel absolutely blessed to be able to do what I love and love what I do. Thank you to my clients who allow me to capture their imagery for life!

Carrying Dyllan...

It wasn't that long ago that I was in these shoes. The little flutters (or big moves) inside your belly and the tender moments of anticipation are among so many of the amazing things about being pregnant-all the mommies out there know that. :) Thanks for sharing some of your moments with me, Jessica, and take good care of yourself in these last few days. Many blessings for a safe, healthy, and beautiful delivery! Welcome Dyllan! We can't wait to meet you. xo

Ann Roth Shoes: a new obsession in chic

I really should do this more often...blog about cool finds and things I love, so welcome to it! I headed out last night to a cocktail hour and trunk show at Paisley Umbrella, where I partner with the bridal co-op, thinking that I could resist the urge to shop. Well, that was until I saw these ANN ROTH SHOES. They were calling my name...more like screaming...and after trying them on, even my feet were wanting them. Not only super hip and unique (these are the only pair ever made), her shoes are uber comfy! Cute double grosgrain ribbons tie around the ankle making them feminine and chic, and the rounded toe gives my mommy feet room to move. Inspired by the 40's and 50's style era, Ann Roth's shoes can bring out the inner Audrey Hepburn, Marilynn Monroe, or Bette Davis in anyone. Thanks Ann! xo

Jade+Robbie=L-O-V-E

Engagement sessions are always fun for me because I get to spend a little one on one time with the bride and groom before the big day. We joke around and just enjoy getting to know each other. The shoot is also a time for quiet anticipation and reflection on the relationship. My goal with every couple is to really capture the true essence of their union before the dress, flowers, or cake sprinkle it's magic into their memories. Jade, my bride here, is a fabulous free-spirit with lots of laughter and creative energy. Robbie is totally a man's man with great taste in design and of course, his sweetie. Thanks for a fun day, and I look forward to the "I do-s". xo

Save the Date: Toast to Fall Bridal Style

What a beautiful night of fall wedding ideas! Paisley Umbrella, our Buckhead co-op location, had it going on! Over 200 brides showed up to pick the brains of some of Atlanta's most creative wedding services. The tables were set to reflect the "classic" coastal bride to the sassy Mediterranean chica. Food abounded in a variety of flavors and colors! Couture Cakes was dishing up yummy cake samples. Blend Custom Parfum Studio was mixing their creative scents of style. Linvites showcased their beautiful letterpress stationary with the Southern tailoring of Olive bridal collections. Ahnna B Designs rocked her bridal couture with Nicola's fabulous vintage-inspired jewelry. Kimberly Mack Beauty Group was makin' it polished with make-up and beauty. Ann Roth Shoes was marching to the beat of their own sophisticated stilletto and The Hungry Peach had everyone's mouth watering with delectable and savory morsels! YUM! And of course...Lytle{foto} had our camera in hand and smile on our faces-ready to capture some moments and enjoy the evening of making friends. Rock on creative Atlanta! What a fantastic night! xo

Class of 2010! OH YEAH!

Ah yes, I won't ever forget the days of my senior year in high school! Now is the time of year that we start booking for senior sessions either in the city or in our north location, so it's a great opportunity to post a sampling of a simple session that I had the other day. Thanks, Barbara, for being the serene and easy-going gal that you are! I wish you lots of amazing experiences and bunches of luck for your bright future. xo

There is no excuse...

...for having a "sabbatical" from your blog, unless of course, you've been super busy doing so many things you're trying to wrap your head around it! Like me! :) Today's post is something of a muse of traditional portrait sessions only because these two were larger than life. They had TONS of energy, and preferred nothing more than playing for the camera-which I love! Twirling and muscle-flexing, pouting...running...laughing: all the ingredients of a fabulous afternoon in shooting. Thank you to my sweet little subjects who were so much fun! xo
