Rebecca and Ann's was my first same-sex wedding ceremony that I've ever
photographed. When meeting with these two beautiful women, their genuine adoration and respect for the other was obvious. True love is hard enough to find...they had found it in each other and that is to be celebrated without stereotype. I stood, with camera in hand, as the groom's sister toasted her best friend and brought me to tears with a story of courage and redemption. This was the first time a speech has brought me to tears, and all I could feel was a love for life and standing tall in the face of adversity. I am so grateful to have been a part of their beautiful big day, and I wish them
a lifetime of happiness together-to always have and to always hold.
