One of my favorite photos...ever.

I can't say that this is my favorite photo because I'm so awesome and perfect with my light, because I am so great at posing clients, or because of all the cool props I used. I CAN say that this is maybe my favorite photo ever because of the moment that unfolded before my eyes; I was just fortunate enough to notice and be there to capture it. This image was taken at one of my recent weddings of the groom (the one whose face is in the light). His name is Joe, and he married his sweetheart Michelle at the Trolley Barn, Atlanta. They were both just so excited and sweet about each other. What was happening: The groomsmen had gathered at the big window overlooking the ceremony site watching guests arrive. Joe had been hanging back a moment in the shadow. Just before the wedding coordinator ushered them down the aisle, I turned my head to see Joe's face cast in the warm window glow...a quiet moment just before saying "I do".  I love the emotion in this.
